Paulette Rybarski is an award-winning florist with 25 years of experience in the greenhouse business. Her passion for flowers began as a child when her grandmother gave Paulette her first package of seeds. That passion blossomed into a 30-year career working with fresh floral and dried flowers.
When she’s not at the greenhouse, Paulette can be found at local farmer's markets where she sells fresh cut flowers, succulents, vegetables and herbs from her garden.
She also speaks and conducts floral arrangement demonstrations at local clubs and organizations and sits on the board of the Van Buren Conservation District.
The Greenhouse
Welcome to Paulette’s Potting Shed, a seasonal greenhouse where lush and vibrant flowers, succulents, hanging baskets, vegetables and herbs thrive in this tranquil, Southwest Michigan country setting.
Step inside and you’ll quickly realize this is not your garden-variety greenhouse. It’s a place where whimsy and originality are also in full bloom. Paulette’s playful spin on garden containers includes flowers planted in funky, one-of-a-kind pots, vintage chairs, wicker baskets, birdcages, tea cups—even shoes.
Feel free to wander around and you’ll find inspiration at every turn. Small vignettes feature unique floral patio designs, colorful pottery, garden statues and stakes, birdhouses, gazing balls and more. Keep exploring and you’ll come upon a peaceful pond and waterfall surrounded by lovely flowers and a canvas of ferns.
Paulette’s Potting Shed is open May through mid July and again during fall mum season.
